About the event

CCEC 2022 will address the topic of regional development in the four Visegrad countries. While the post-socialist transformation  has produced democratisation, economic liberalisation, as well as EU accession, it has produced notable regional inequalities. At the same time, the countries need to face their share  of global challenges, such as Climate Change, but the measures to address them need to be aligned with the  needs of local populations.

We have decided to donate all the proceeds from the conference raised from ticket purchases to Človek v ohrození (the Slovak equivalent of People in Need), a charity supporting Ukrainians through safe accommodation, food and water as well as other forms of support. Whilst there might be little that we can do, this is our small share of trying to help.

The ticket includes conference, lunch, and reception with the speakers.
