Jan Kuklík, Prof., JUDr., DrSc., is the present Dean of the Law Faculty, Charles University in Prague. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1989 (JUDr.), where he was awarded Doctorate in legal theory and history (1995). In 1991–92, he was a visiting graduate student at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, where he specialized in Czech and Czechoslovak legal history, with a focus on the 19th and 20th centuries. His publications focus on, among other topics, Czechoslovak legal history and foreign policy during the interwar period and WW II. Prof Kuklík also published a monograph, The Establishment of the Czechoslovak National Committee and Provisional Government in Exile.
